Admitting Representative What You Will Do: Provide exceptional customer service to all patients and visitors.

Conduct accurate patient registration and check-in procedures as patients arrive for service.

Collect required patient, demographic, and insurance information/documents to ensure complete registration in our systems.

Secure necessary patient signatures and information upon arrival.

For complex registrations, refer patients to more experienced team members.

Conduct real-time insurance eligibility and benefits verification for all patients.

Verify insurance benefits, explain financial responsibilities to patients or their representatives, and collect any outstanding amounts at the point of service.

Handle collections and cashiering processes, referring patients to Financial Counseling as needed.

Ensure adherence to departmental standards for hospital collection activities.

Work assigned shifts in the Emergency Admitting department, including 12-hour and 8-hour shifts, rotating weekends, on-call, and holiday shifts.

Mentor new associates and support their orientation training.

Perform inpatient admission duties, including determining network benefits and managing Medicare patient documentation.

Handle observation admission services, verifying in/out of network benefits, and securing necessary patient signatures.

Consistently meet or exceed individual performance goals.

Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.

Shift:

12-hour night shift from 07:00 PM to 07:30 AM, including rotating weekends, on-call duties, and holiday work. What You Will Need: High School diploma or GED equivalent.

0-2 years of experience in healthcare, clinical settings, or customer service environments.

Preferred Qualifications: One year of experience in hospital Patient Access.

Data Entry experience.

Understanding of health plans and insurance.

Bilingual in English and Spanish.

The annual salary range for this position is $38,000.00 - $63,000.00, influenced by skills, experience, and organizational needs. What We Offer: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance.
