Immediately Hiring a Dedicated SOLO Non CDL Driver
We want the right employee to drive with us at Ryder. Ryder employees who drive on this account earn $640-$776 weekly and it gets better. Ryder drivers are paid weekly with hourly pay of $28.59 per hour and $5.90/hr health and wellness. Hours per week are 22.5 hours per week. The schedule is Sunday - Friday. Start time is Monday - Friday 3 pm - 7:30 pm and Sunday 6:45 am - 9:15 am. Apply here with Ryder today. Deliver SOLO to within 80 miles of Halethorpe. Route is local home daily. Tractor type is straight truck. Trailer type is straight truck 18'-24'. Equipment includes rolling racks and carts. Ryder will train you on all equipment needed to be successful. Freight includes touch US Mail trucks that are 36 months or newer, include 24/7 roadside maintenance and company drivers fuel up the trucks at over 800 maintenance facilities nationwide. We have all the benefits other carriers do without the wait: uniforms, cell phone and boot allowance provided, paid personal time off starts at day 1 - 80 hours accrued in the first year. Do not lose paid personal time policy - we encourage you to use vacation time earned. If you decide not to use it, we pay you the remaining balance at your hourly pay rate. Minimum 21 years of age, minimum of 6 months of verifiable driving experience, pass a Ryder drug test, must have verifiable driving experience (must be in like equipment if position being applied for is operating a straight truck or box truck): 6 months experience in the past 3 years, or 2 years' experience within the last 5 years, or 5 years' experience within the last 10 years, pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years, pass a DOT physical, pass a Ryder road test, must have a valid driver's license, ability to follow written and/or oral instructions, ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures. Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification, motor vehicle records check and a road test; and/or badging or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned. This position is primarily responsible for safely driving a vehicle within and requires compliance with safety regulations, continuous training and customer service. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines, detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards, maintaining accurate records loading/unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer, and other tasks as assigned.
