Hilton Hotels & Resorts What will I be doing? The primary responsibilities are to support the group sales team at the hotel/complex and participate in business strategies that are creative, dynamic and impactful toward achieving the hotel’s annual budget and crossover targets. As an Assistant Director of Sales, you will own and manage a key vertical market for the hotel and contribute leadership support to the commercial strategies for the sales team. You will help the sales team connect strategy and business processes to drive revenue across Rooms, Catering and Events. Key deliverables include deploying, shaping the team, and supporting activities with a predictive and prescriptive approach to drive performance. Position Statement This role requires strong sales, communication, and networking skills, with the ability to understand customer needs and apply a disciplined approach to qualify, negotiate and secure new revenue for the hotel. Responsibilities

Customer and Account Management: Apply strong sales skills to create customer value, differentiate Hilton from the competition, and deliver clear value to customers and the organizations they represent. Prospecting: Demonstrate mastery of the prospecting process, identify potential customers, and execute call strategies. Negotiations: Understand customer and business leader expectations and adapt to a changing market. Lead and support sales strategy execution, site visits, and contract development where applicable. Contribute to the hotel’s Annual Multi-Year Strategic Intentions and Commercial Strategy with the hotel leadership team and regional support. Engage with Hilton Worldwide Sales, Convention Bureau, and Intermediaries to retain existing customers and secure new business. Develop and execute outside sales calls, industry tradeshows, and customer events. Plan and communicate monthly, quarterly, and annual business plans for designated markets with an up-to-date pipeline. Represent the hotel in all sales interactions, including proposals and contracts. Conduct site inspections using storytelling tailored to customer needs. Leadership

Lead segments of daily and weekly business reviews and sales strategy meetings. Collaborate on the commercial strategy plan and socialization across the team. Develop and implement sales site visit strategies and approaches. Ensure adherence to Hilton brand standards and utilize corporate tools. Lead enterprise and hotel-level sales initiatives and support team members when they are absent or remote. Provide feedback for performance reviews of sales managers and support staff. Foster a culture aligned with Hilton’s DEI and ESG goals. Qualifications

Sales leadership experience from an Assistant Director or Senior Sales Manager role with a minimum of three years in hotel group sales. Proven track record of success and a strong drive to support the team and achieve top performance. Strong communication, networking, and relationship-building skills; ability to understand customer needs and apply disciplined qualification, negotiation, and revenue generation.
