Overview Join Attivo Partners, a fast-growing full-service finance and accounting consulting firm. We provide fractional CFO and accounting services to venture-backed emerging growth clients, supporting their journey from inception to over $50M in revenue. This role is remote-friendly with preference for candidates in San Francisco/Bay Area, Los Angeles/Southern California, New York City, Austin, and Boston. Some travel to in-person events is required (approximately 2-3 weeks per year).

Role Overview The Accounting Manager is a hands-on role responsible for accounting functions for multiple clients, including full-cycle month-end close, accounts receivable and payable, payroll, and tax compliance. The Accounting Manager manages client general ledgers, assists with the preparation of financial statements and management reporting, manages cash, and assists with budgeting and forecasts. Experience developing and establishing policies and procedures within a corporation is highly preferred. The ideal candidate will have experience with early-stage startups. Responsibilities
Produce monthly financial statements and budget vs actual analyses Assist with financial modeling and forecasting for clients Manage Accounts Receivable (invoicing, collections, contract review) Manage Accounts Payable (accurate entry, timely payment, policy compliance) Process employee onboarding, payroll, and terminations Mentor and train future team members Requirements
Solid understanding of GAAP; CPA preferred Advanced Excel skills Experience with QuickBooks Online, Xero, Netsuite, Bill.com, Gusto, Expensify, Carta Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Independent judgment and decision-making Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities Professional curiosity and creativity Desire to learn and continuous improvement Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred; CPA is a plus 6+ years of progressive accounting experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory role Experience in a fast-paced technology or professional services environment Professional Attributes

Additional compensation types include Annual Bonus. Attivo offers a competitive base plus bonus and opportunities for advancement.
