Vice President & Legal Counsel Responsibilities

Manage a broad range of corporate legal matters and provide strategic and timely legal advice to the General Counsel and other senior managers. Negotiate third-party services agreements, licenses and related contracts in connection with the acquisition of technology and other products and services. Contract management and provide legal guidance and assistance in third-party risk management of technology and other bank service providers. Advise business units on legal and compliance risks, various regulatory matters, corporate transactions including commercial lending, legal and regulatory compliance and investigations, employment matters and litigation matters. Qualifications

Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school required. 5 years of experience as an attorney, including contract review, negotiation and management required. Must be licensed to practice law in Hawaii. Technology industry and/or financial institution experience preferred. Able to plan, organize and budget. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Able to handle confidential matters judiciously. Able to work independently and proactively to take initiative to solve problems quickly. Attention to detail with excellent follow-through. Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines to completion in a timely manner with quality results. Excellent time management and legal project management skills. Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications. Benefits
