Position First Hawaiian Bank is currently seeking an Enterprise Third-Party Risk Program Manager to join our IT Governance & Compliance team. The Enterprise Third-Party Risk Program Manager leads the strategic direction and continuous advancement of the Bank’s Enterprise Third-Party Risk Management (ETRM) program, driving a culture of risk awareness and continuous improvement throughout the Bank. The role oversees the development, implementation, and enhancement of risk management processes, policies, and technologies to ensure alignment with regulatory expectations, enterprise risk appetite, and business objectives. It serves as the primary liaison to senior leadership on third-party risk matters, providing actionable insights, reporting, and recommendations to support informed decision-making. It collaborates closely with business units and external stakeholders to ensure effective risk identification, due diligence, and ongoing monitoring of third-party relationships. Additionally, the role is responsible for the strategic use and governance of the ETRM system of record, enabling automation, reporting, and process efficiency across the program. It performs analysis and management reporting for the ETRM program and indirectly manages ETRM program analysts.

Work Hours Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (hours may vary)

Compensation The annual salary range for this role is: $90,000 - $115,000 per year; commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, information systems, risk management or equivalent experience or combination of education and relevant experience required

6 years of progressively responsible experience in third-party risk management, vendor risk, or enterprise risk management, including demonstrated experience in program development, stakeholder engagement, and strategic planning, or an equivalent combination of education and experience required

Experience in technical field, risk management, banking, third-party risk management, or similar work preferred

Experience planning, preparing, coordinating and delivering training to users of ETRM software (Archer) and/or procedures systems preferred

Experience with risk management tools and procedures in financial institutions preferred

Knowledge of financial services and third-party risk management

Ability to plan, organize, and manage staff

Excellent written and verbal communication

Handles confidential matters judiciously

High level of professionalism

Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong attention to detail with high levels of accuracy as needed to create quality deliverables

Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines to completion in a timely manner with quality results

Adaptable and flexible workstyle with a proven ability to handle competing demands and priorities

Highly organized with excellent time management skills

Able to successfully navigate changing environments and perform in a fast-paced setting

Proficiency in system troubleshooting, configuration, and user support, with a commitment to delivering high-quality service

Work history indicates a demonstrated track record of performance

Excellent negotiation, planning and organizational skills

Must be highly proficient in Microsoft suite of applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
