Overview Join a dynamic team as Director of Tax, overseeing all aspects of income tax accounting, compliance, planning, and strategy. This leadership role requires strong technical expertise, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to guide tax operations across federal, state, and FERC reporting.

Lead quarterly and annual tax accounting under ASC 740, including new pronouncement implementation Oversee preparation and filing of federal, state, and local income tax returns Manage tax audits and resolve complex tax issues Support tax planning for IPOs, M&A, and other strategic initiatives Own internal tax controls and drive process improvements Prepare technical documentation for IRS and Treasury submissions Supervise external advisors and mentor internal tax professionals Ensure accurate FERC reporting and compliance Qualifications
Master’s in Tax, Accounting, or Finance (CPA required) 10+ years of tax experience in public accounting or industry Strong leadership, project management, and analytical skills Expertise in partnership and corporate tax, multi-state filings, and tax research Excellent communication and ability to influence non-tax stakeholders Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed Seniority level
