Patient Services Representative , your contributions will significantly enhance health outcomes for those most in need. You will serve as the first point of contact for patients, providing essential logistical support and a compassionate presence during challenging times. This role allows you to create a lasting impact on individuals and families within your community, guiding them to the healthcare services they deserve. Location:

333 Smith Avenue, Saint Paul, MN 55102 Key Responsibilities: Welcome and greet patients, ensuring a warm and friendly first impression while guiding them to their appointments. Collect and verify demographic, insurance, and benefits information, securing the necessary signatures. Check in patients and assist in completing essential paperwork, including financial assistance applications. Provide clear cost information to patients, collect co-pays and deductibles, and advise them on financial assistance options. Resolve claim issues or registration errors, documenting all actions in the electronic medical record. Utilize tools and resources to register accounts and manage assigned work duties effectively. Deliver outstanding customer service for both inbound and outbound calls, ensuring prompt resolution of inquiries. Assist in scheduling additional appointments as required. Mentor team members and provide technical guidance, as needed. Adapt to the dynamic healthcare environment by performing other duties as assigned with a focus on patient care. We also foster opportunities for development in other roles that may interest you. Required Qualifications: 6+ months of customer service experience. Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office. Availability to work standard daytime hours, Monday-Friday, for the first 3 weeks aligning with training schedules. Ability to work a 40-hour week in a rotating schedule starting at 6:30am, 7:00am, and 9:00am. Must be available to work every other weekend. Must be 18 years of age or older. Preferred Qualifications: Revenue cycle experience. General office experience. Familiarity with Epic systems. Physical Demands: Frequent walking, standing, bending, and turning. Occasionally lifting up to 10 lbs, frequently lifting 2-5 lbs. *Sign-On Bonus Note:

The sign-on bonus applies only to external candidates; internal candidates are not eligible. Compensation is based on various factors, including local labor markets and individual qualifications. In addition to competitive pay, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, incentive programs, and a retirement plan. The hourly pay for this role ranges from $16.00 to $27.69 for full-time employment, compliant with minimum wage laws.
