Patient Services Representative , you will be the welcoming face for our patients, providing essential logistical support and a compassionate presence during their appointments. 333 Smith Avenue, Saint Paul, MN 55102 Primary Responsibilities: Welcome and greet patients in person, creating a friendly first impression and guiding them to their appointments and procedures. Collect and verify patient demographic, insurance, and benefits data, ensuring accuracy and obtaining necessary signatures. Assist with patient check-ins and interviews, completing required paperwork, including financial assistance applications. Explain cost information and collect co-pays and deductibles while informing patients about available financial assistance options. Address and resolve claim issues or registration errors, documenting resolutions in the electronic medical record. Utilize resources, tools, and procedures to accurately register accounts and manage assigned work queues. Provide excellent customer service for inbound and outbound calls, ensuring clear communication and prompt resolution of inquiries. Assist in scheduling additional appointments as necessary. Might mentor other staff and provide technical or functional direction, gathering medical record information as needed. Perform other duties as assigned to support the dynamic healthcare environment with flexibility and a focus on patient care. You'll be recognized for your contributions in an environment that challenges you and provides clear goals for success, plus development opportunities for future roles. Required Qualifications: 6+ months of experience in customer service. Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work standard daytime hours, Monday-Friday, for the first 3 weeks in alignment with training. Ability to work a full-time rotating schedule, starting at 6:30am, 7:00am, or 9:00am. Willingness to work every other weekend. Must be 18 years of age or older. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Revenue Cycle. General office experience. Familiarity with Epic software. Physical Demands: Frequent walking, standing, bending, and turning. Able to lift weights up to 10 lbs. occasionally, and 2-5 lbs. frequently. Note:

Compensation is based on various factors including local labor markets and experience. The hourly wage for this role ranges from $16.00 to $27.69 based on full-time employment.
