Assembler Kearny, NJ 2nd Shift Direct Hire, Union Role $20-$24 an hour The assembler position works on the electrical and mechanical assembly and final integration of products. This position is for an experienced individual with 2+ years of experience building assemblies and sub-assemblies and wiring of components. Primary Job Responsibilities • Assemble products to completion following electrical drawings and schematics • Read/Interpret electrical and mechanical assembly fabrication drawings • Work independently and follow a schedule • Participate in shop cleanup activities • Communicate with Shop Leads regarding quality and production schedules • Assist coworkers with other tasks as assigned • Operate within the requirements of an ISO 9001 Quality System • Work with Quality, Environmental, H&S employees to ensure and maintain compliance with safety, operational, and regulatory standards of Quality • Has the obligation to be aware of and comply with environmental, safety policies and regulations and always endures duties of high-quality standards Job Requirements • Ability to understand assembly prints • Mechanical aptitude; excel at the physical assembly of parts • Experience in production line assembly and fine manipulation of components and wiring. • Advanced knowledge and working experience of handheld power tools/drills up to highest torque 65 in-lbs
