Onsite Flexibility: Onsite Contract Details Position Type: Contract Contract Duration: ~7 months Start Date: As soon as possible Pay Rate: $23/hr Shift/Hours: First Shift — 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, 40 hours/week Job Summary The Electro/Mechanical Assembler is responsible for the precise assembly, testing, and inspection of electro-mechanical components and systems in a fast-paced medical device manufacturing environment. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and adherence to quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working from detailed instructions and technical drawings to support both new builds and reconditioned hardware. Key Responsibilities Assemble sub-assemblies and system-level hardware per specifications Perform in-process testing of sub-assemblies and complete units Complete Device History Record documentation accurately Package instruments and equipment as required Support reconditioning, service, and instrument manufacturing tasks Maintain compliance with internal QSR, ISO, EH&S, and manufacturing standards Utilize hand tools, torque tools, crimpers, and soldering equipment effectively Inspect components using calipers, indicators, and multimeters Support internal audits and workplace risk reduction efforts Provide training to peers as needed Perform other duties as assigned Required Experience Proficiency with assembly hand tools and mechanical drawings Familiarity with mechanical and electrical testing equipment Previous experience in manufacturing or hardware assembly preferred Nice-to-Have Experience Medical device manufacturing experience Familiarity with QSR, ISO, and EH&S compliance standards Previous training or mentorship roles in a production setting Required Skills Ability to follow detailed written assembly and test procedures Basic understanding of quality and safety standards in manufacturing Strong documentation and record-keeping abilities High attention to detail and manual dexterity Preferred Skills Risk identification and control in manufacturing environments Understanding of device lifecycle including reconditioned units Education High school diploma or equivalent experience/training Benefits Medical, Vision, and Dental Insurance Plans 401(k) Retirement Fund About the Client An innovative medical technology company focused on improving lives through early detection, diagnosis, and treatment — especially in women's health.
