• Assist machine operators with machine setup, including adjusting settings and loading
materials.
• Conduct and monitor pallet construction and packaging to ensure proper function and quality
output.
• Conduct regular quality checks to maintain product specifications and identify any deviations.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform minor maintenance tasks as needed.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and workflow.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper disposal of waste materials.
• Complete production logs and reports accurately and timely.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge of machine operation and
safety procedures.
• Performing other related duties as assigned.

Job Description
The Forklift Operator will be responsible for efficiently picking orders off racks using RF scanning technology and performing general shipping and receiving tasks. The role involves operating a forklift approximately 70% of the time, with the remaining 30% dedicated to other warehouse duties. Experience in loading trucks, shrink wrapping, and breaking down pallets is highly beneficial, and food handling experience is considered a plus.
Responsibilities
Pick orders off racks using RF scanning technology.
Operate a sit-down forklift, preferably with previous certification.
Load trucks and wrap pallets, ensuring items are securely packed.
Ensure the exact quantity and type of product is prepared and pulled consistently.
Perform picking duties efficiently, meeting process standards.
Maintain a dependable and reliable work ethic as a self-starter and team player.
Follow directions and procedures accurately without deviation.
Perform additional duties as assigned by supervision.
Essential Skills
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a distribution warehouse setting.
Proficiency with RF Scan gun usage and WMS systems.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and handle pallet weights up to 2500 pounds.
Experience with 2-prong forklifts and loading 53' trailers.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Prior shipping experience.
Experience in a food distribution warehouse is advantageous.
Flexible with daily work assignments and able to adapt as needed.
