General Contracting Estimator
Develop detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including labor, materials, and equipment. Collaborate with project teams to understand project scope and requirements. Analyze project documents, such as blueprints and specifications, to prepare accurate estimates. Identify and solicit bids from qualified subcontractors and suppliers. Evaluate bids to ensure alignment with project requirements and budgets. Prepare and present estimate reports to clients and stakeholders. Monitor and update estimates as project details evolve. Maintain accurate records of estimates and related documentation.
