Job Title: HR Representative Location: Tallahassee, FL Regular/Temporary: Regular Full/Part Time: Full-Time Job ID: 61106 Department: Human Resources - Employee Labor & Relations Responsibilities
Responsible for assisting with the USPS and A&P performance evaluation process (Probationary, Annual, and Special evaluations). Provides assistance and guidance to supervisors and department representatives on evaluations; provides notices on evaluation due dates; tracks and reviews completed evaluations; sends follow up correspondence on evaluations not received; and compiles and produces Evaluation Reports as requested. Provides basic counseling and assistance to employees and supervisors on ELR policies and procedures. Maintains an intricate filing/computer database on ELR actions such as grievances, complaints, disciplinary actions, Voluntarily Reductions, etc. Compiles and produces statistical and other ELR reports. Initiates correspondence regarding ELR issues, and prepares ELR Case files. Responsible for ELR file room organization. May assist with drafting ELR actions. Assist with administration support for collective bargaining negotiations with staff units. Coordinates scheduling of collective bargaining sessions and management team meetings. May assist with taking meeting notes and preparing minutes for distribution. Provides assistance and counseling to employees who are accepting a voluntary demotion or reduction in FTE or salary or a reclassification resulting in a change from USPS to A&P. Coordinates completion of the appropriate forms and forward necessary information to the appropriate area(s) of HR. Assists with the coordination of the Re-employment Assistance (RA) process and CDL Alcohol and Drug Testing Program. Performs other duties assigned. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree; or a high school diploma or equivalent and four years of experience. (Note: post high-school education and/or experience may substitute at a comparable rate.) Preferred Qualifications
