Travel Registered Nurse - ICU - Classification: RN-ICU Shift Detail: 7A-7:30P Assignment Length: 13 weeks Certifications: CCRN preferred Weekend Rotating Call Requirements: No Guaranteed Hours: 36 Special Skills/Experience required: 2 years + Floating policy: As needed Must have: (2+ years of Hospital Experience, BLS, ACLS Preferred Skills/Advanced Skills Needed: Experience with the following: Meditech Experience preferred Specialty/Unit Certifications Required: (RN)Active RN TX license temp license will not be accepted Unit Specifics - Unit staffing description: Assignments according to acuity and skills Type of equipment: all ICU equipment-ventilators, NXStage, Arctic Sun, GE Cardiac Output monitor Documentation system: Meditech Procedures performed on unit: Central line placements, bedside procedure like thoracentesis, dialysis Cath placements, cardioversions, intubations and all other ICU procedures Patient Experience Required: MICU/MSICU Dress Code: Scrub Color RN: Royal Blue Scrubs Nail Policy Clean and Healthy, no artificial nails, gel, next gen, etc. Hair - hair should be neat and clean with no extreme styles or colors. Beards, mustaches and sideburns should be clean and neatly trimmed. Hair must be pulled back if shoulder length or longer when working in the lab. Tattoos Body art should be covered whenever possible. Body art that is not feasible to cover on a daily basis will be addressed individually Piercings Visible piercings other than ears is prohibited.
