Industrial Maintenance Electrician

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in an industrial plant or manufacturing environment, demonstrating a strong ability to troubleshoot and modify PLC-based equipment. This role requires proficiency in working with AC and DC motors, transformers, circuit breakers, and electronic controls. The ability to interpret drawings and schematics and effectively use computer-based software is essential. Schedule: 4 12's rotating shift Pay: $30.85/hr Responsibilities: Receive work instructions, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and specifications to perform scheduled, emergency, routine repairs, calibrations, and preventative maintenance. Interpret drawings and sketches to determine the best work procedures, tools, and equipment needed to troubleshoot and repair problems. Repair, rebuild, and test electrical components to ensure equipment is operational swiftly and efficiently. Troubleshoot electrical systems using ladder logic, electrical prints, and schematics, with knowledge of 3-phase electricity. Diagnose problems and failures to repair a variety of equipment, including presses and machines. Perform routine and preventive maintenance to ensure the ongoing functioning of required tools and equipment. Maintain tools and equipment to ensure their availability in safe operating condition. Understand mechanical and hydraulic press systems and programmable controls. Read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics for troubleshooting and repair. Essential Skills: Five years of experience in an industrial plant or manufacturing environment. Ability to use computer-based software to complete job tasks. Experience troubleshooting and modifying PLC-based equipment. Proficiency with AC and DC motors, transformers, circuit breakers, electronic controls, and control panels. Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints. Proper use of tools and measuring devices with a safe work mentality. Additional Skills & Qualifications: High School Diploma. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working as an industrial electrician in heavy industrial facilities. Journeyman electrician Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr.
