Overview
The Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) is looking for a
Principal Network Engineer - Cyberspace Network Operations (CNO)
to provide research support administration services for our government customer in
Ft. Belvoir, VA . Responsibilities Provides subject matter expertise in Information Technologies. As a SETA, the candidate will need to look at efforts objectively and provide independent assessments and recommendations. Provides IT expertise and represents customer/user needs during the development of architecture data, reference models, and architectural alternatives and products. Provides support in the translation of mission requirements into IT service needs and requirements, designs, and orders. Assemble acquisition documents for purchase request packages. Proactively evaluates new services and technologies and makes mission-focused impact and gap assessments. Planning and coordinating an organization's infrastructure strategic and long-range goals, management concepts, and business practices. Assist with coordination, analysis, and execution of technical strategies to address changing DoD IT policies, reforms, and optimization efforts that could impact mission support.
Required Degree/Education/Certification
Must have a Bachelors degree. Masters degree preferred.
Required Skills and Experience
High level of creativity and complexity to research and recommend solutions.
Required Citizenship and Clearance
Must be a U.S. Citizen (Born or Naturalized). Must have Active TS/SCI Clearance.
