Training Specialist Iii
Charlotte, NC (3 days onsite) We are seeking a creative and thoughtful Training Specialist III local to Charlotte, NC. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in our AI transformation initiative within IT by designing and delivering engaging, role-based learning journeys. Your work will drive the adoption of AI tools and enhance overall AI and data literacy across the organization. Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. Design comprehensive learning journeys and modular learning paths tailored for various AI personas, including Builders, Users, and Explorers. Develop interactive training content using Articulate Rise and manage its deployment through Duke Energy's MyLearning platform. Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to ensure training efforts align with AI persona strategies and adoption roadmaps. Conduct training needs assessments with product teams and stakeholders to understand system capabilities and user challenges. Deliver foundational AI and Data Literacy content as part of a broader enterprise training program. Create learning experiences that are clear, engaging, and grounded in adult learning principles. Continuously iterate based on learner feedback and adoption metrics, adjusting formats and materials to support ongoing learning and improvement. Experience Requirements
3+ years of experience in instructional design, learning journey development, or corporate training. Proven experience in building digital learning modules using Articulate Rise or similar tools. Strong understanding of adult learning theory and best practices in digital content delivery. Ability to work collaboratively across teams and tailor learning solutions to meet diverse stakeholder needs. Familiarity or interest in AI and data concepts, with a commitment to staying ahead of technology trends. Comfort navigating ambiguity and thriving in a fast-paced, innovative environment. Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Information Technology, or a related field
