Optomi, in partnership with a leader within the manufacturing industry, is seeking an experienced AWS Engineer for their remote team! The right MuleSoft Developer will have deep expertise in on-premise MuleSoft installations and infrastructure management. This role will lead the design, development, and deployment of robust integration solutions while ensuring the stability, scalability, and security of the on-prem MuleSoft runtime environment. Experience Of The Right Candidate: 5+ years of professional experience in MuleSoft development At least 2 years of hands-on experience with MuleSoft on-prem runtime environments Strong expertise in MuleSoft architecture, API-led design, RAML/OpenAPI specifications Hands-on experience managing infrastructure components: servers, networking, storage, and security Proven experience with performance tuning, troubleshooting, and infrastructure optimization Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field Excellent communication and collaboration skills Responsibilities Of The Right Candidate: MuleSoft Development &Integration Design and Implement APIs and integrations using MuleSoft Anypoint Studio and Runtime Develop reusable assets, connectors, and templates aligned with API-led connectivity principals Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable integration solutions Conduct performance tuning and troubleshooting of Mule applications Lead the setup, configuration, and maintenance of MuleSoft on-premise runtimes (standalone or clustered). Manage server infrastructure in Windows environments, load balancers, firewalls, and network configurations Implement and maintain high availability, disaster recovery, and security controls for MuleSoft environments Monitor system health and optimize resource usage across environments Seniority level
