Our client, a global cosmetics company, is looking for an Accounting Manager to join their team! This will be a hybrid role working out of their office in the Westshore area of Tampa. The successful candidate will be a strong leader with the ability to manage a large team, possess advanced knowledge of accounting principles and internal controls. and thrives is a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Role Overview:
- Contract Role: 6 months
- Pay: $64-75/hr on W2
- Schedule:3 days onsite, 2 days' work from home
Responsibilities:
- Assist with SAP upgrade projects and support for S4 transition
- Lead the month-end reporting process
- Review and design new internal controls processes
- Supervise organization of audit requests
- Supervise accounts reconciliation for all business entities
- Identify risks and gaps through accounting acumen and data analytics
- Design and maintain dashboards for KPI reporting and metrics
- Review General Ledger entries, Balance Sheet, sub ledgers, and trial balances
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related concentration
- Active CPA
- 8+ years of corporate accounting experience
- 5+ years of supervisory experience
- Prior experience working in the consumer goods/products industry is highly preferred
- SAP experience is required, SAP S/4HANA experience is preferred
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Excellent communication skills to interact with executive leadership
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills
