As an Accounting Specialist, you will play a vital role in our finance team by preparing and recording journal entries, reconciling general ledger accounts, and conducting research and analysis of financial transactions.

Your key responsibilities as an Accounting Specialist will include:
- Preparing and recording general ledger journal entries.
- Reconciling GL accounts and making necessary adjustments.
- Maintaining organized records and files of all financial information.
- Assisting in variance analysis and compiling financial reports.
- Facilitating audits and responding to various jurisdictional information requests.
- Preparing and filing state, local, and other jurisdiction-specific returns and reports.
- Reviewing and analyzing compliance with accounting regulations.
- Performing other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications for this role:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in an accounting department.
- Proficient skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Prior experience with Oracle E-Business Suite is preferred.
- Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Capable of organizing, forecasting, managing multiple priorities, and meeting deadlines.
- Fluency in English is required to understand work-related communications effectively.
