Job Summary:

As the Mental Health Navigator, you provide direct patient/family interventions for mental health services for patients with behavioral/psychiatric issues.

In this role, you provide social work services to patients and families to promote understanding and resolution of problems related to environmental stress, interpersonal conflict, physical illness, and other psychosocial issues.

REQUIREMENTS

Education: Master's degree in social work, guidance and counseling, or similar degree

Skills:Must demonstrate sound clinical skills and judgment in providing therapy. Must be able to address multiple priorities in a timely manner. Must be able to use a computer.

License: Current licensure in social work or other counseling in the state of practice.

Certification: BCLS certified or obtained within 3 months of hire. CPI certified or obtained within 3 months of hire.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

Experience: Experience in acute care hospital setting. One year experience in an acute psychiatric setting.
