This is a Full-time position (40 hours/week), requiring flexibility to work shifts between 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM, including weekends and potential overtime based on business needs. Our office is located at Owensboro Regional Hospital, 1201 Pleasant Valley Rd, Owensboro, KY, 42303. We provide 6 weeks of comprehensive, paid on-the-job training—including 2 weeks of on-site EMR and one-on-one training, followed by 4 weeks of mentorship aligned with your schedule. Primary Responsibilities: Welcome and assist patients during the intake process. Coordinate patient flow to enhance efficiency and reduce wait times. Process walk-in patients and visitors promptly. Confirm patient eligibility and verify insurance benefits. Accurate data entry of demographic and billing information into the system. Schedule appointments using computerized systems as needed. Explain financial responsibilities and payment options to patients. Provide guidance on insurance benefits and financial assistance when applicable. Accept payments and co-pays diligently. Communicate effectively with insurance representatives, patients, and healthcare team members. Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED (or higher). 1+ years of customer service experience. Willingness to work any full-time shift between 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM, with flexibility for overtime and weekends. Must be at least 18 years old. Preferred Qualifications: 1+ years of relevant experience, including data entry. Experience in an emergency department setting. Familiarity with medical office procedures and terminology. Note:

Your pay will reflect various factors, including local labor markets, education, and experience. The hourly pay for this position ranges from $16.00 to $27.69 hourly based on full-time employment.
