This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is ready to take on a new challenge. The ideal candidate will bring direct experience handling workers compensation claims, along with a strong background in Medicare and Medicaid.

Responsibilities: Conduct insurance verification and benefit determination for a wide range of payers Submit, monitor, and manage claims, including workers compensation, Medicare, and Medicaid Follow up on denials, perform reimbursement analysis, and resolve claim status concerns Manage high volumes of inbound calls from patients and insurance carriers daily Accurately document financial activities and patient information Resolve outstanding billing issues, including denial management and records submission Participate in meetings and training sessions to stay current on billing policies Communicate effectively with patients, carriers, and internal teams to ensure billing accuracy Compensation:

$20-$22/hr

Required Qualifications & Experience:

At least 23 years of experience in medical billing, collections, or billing systems Hands-on experience managing workers compensation claims Background working with Medicare and Medicaid Comfortable handling 3040 patient calls and 40+ insurance calls daily High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

Familiarity with traditional insurance plans, HMO/PPOs Ability to read and interpret Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
