System Architect
Pinnacle Solutions is looking for a System Architect with supervisory capabilities at the Huntsville, AL location. Responsibilities include overseeing the overall systems infrastructure, including engineering, implementation, integration, and technical services and support. Designs, implements, installs, maintains, and administers infrastructures including hardware, software, and various configurations. Monitors overall performance to proactively identify potential issues and tune appropriately. Performs root cause analysis on failed components and implements corrective measures. Handles complex issues. Works with others to establish and improve processes and procedures. Performs work with a high degree of latitude. Responsible for systems architecture, design, and development of new training equipment and their associated training systems. Supervises the work of a team of engineers that are responsible for systems infrastructure. Monitors system performance troubleshoots failed or underperforming components, and takes corrective action as needed. Develops program specifications, identifies required inputs, and is responsible for testing of systems. Implements modifications to improve functionality, ensuring satisfactory results. Ensures data integration and communication between interrelated systems. Coordinates the flow of work through the department. Knowledge of the field's policies, procedures, and practices. Leads and directs the work of other employees. Typically has some authority for personnel decisions related to hiring, performance, or disciplinary actions. Qualifications include a bachelor's degree in engineering or related field. 10 years' experience in performing engineering with hardware and software integration. Experience in SysML or MBSE desired.
