We are seeking an experienced SAP/TM Functional Consultant with deep expertise in SAP Transportation Management (TM) 9.3 or above and SAP logistics.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience across various SAP TM functions, integration capabilities, and project lifecycle activities.
This role requires strong analytical skills, technical knowledge, and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
Key Responsibilities
Configure and support SAP TM functions including: Transportation Network Order Tendering and Carrier Determination CIF Integration Models and Error Remediation Transportation Charge Management Manage SAP TM Master Data: Products, Business Partners, Dangerous Goods, Locations, Routes, Zones, Resources (Vehicles, Trailers, Handling Units). Integrate SAP TM with Order Management systems. Support planning activities: Selection Profiles, Planning Profiles, Optimizer Planning, Schedules, Carrier Selection, and Tendering. Handle inbound and outbound shipment processes (domestic and international), including Load Builder (FTL, LTL), Package Builder (mixed product packing and layer building). Work with multi-modal transport scenarios: Road, Rail, Ocean, and Air. Execute transportation processes: Carrier Selection, Tendering, Delivery, and Shipment Proposals. Manage Freight Settlement: Charge Management, Calculations, and Cost Distribution. Participate in full project lifecycle activities including design, configuration, testing, and deployment. Support TM Queue processing and outbound/inbound ABAP interfaces using IDOCs, BAPIs, RFCs, and flat files. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively across organizational levels. Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). 5+ years of experience with SAP TM 9.3 or above. 5+ years of overall SAP Functional experience in logistics. Strong knowledge of RFCs, BAPIs, BADIs, BDCs, User Exits, and enhancement points. Experience with SAP Global Trade Services (GTS) integration and configuration. Cross-module experience with SAP ECC (e.g., MM, PM). Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project experience.
