Job Description
We are seeking a Desktop Support Analyst to provide technical support for end-user workstation hardware and software, ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations. This role involves troubleshooting issues, implementing new solutions, and supporting upgrades to enhance the overall employee experience.
Responsibilities
Diagnose, resolve, and document workstation hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
Assist with installation, configuration, and support of new and upgraded PCs, laptops, operating systems, and applications.
Recommend and help implement new hardware/software solutions to improve the end-user experience.
Contribute to the development and enhancement of IT policies, procedures, and documentation.
Maintain accurate inventory of installed software, track software licensing, and manage upgrade schedules.
Coordinate with hardware/software vendors to ensure timely delivery and deployment of equipment.
Analyze and provide recommendations for hardware and software standardization.
Create and manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls in line with company policies.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
3–5 years of hands-on experience in desktop/laptop hardware and software installation, configuration, and support.
Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and common enterprise applications.
Familiarity with networking fundamentals (LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
Certifications preferred:
HDI Desktop Support Technician or Support Center Analyst
CompTIA (A+, Network+)
Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) or Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA)
