Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CT Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 10/20/2025 Duration: 20 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, evenings Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for mid-shift coverage, requiring Epic charting experience and Level 1 Trauma experience. Responsibilities Work in a hospital CT Scan department covering mid-shifts Monday through Friday from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM Primary responsibilities include conducting computerized axial tomography procedures and assigned invasive procedures according to departmental protocols Patient population includes Level 1 Trauma cases Utilizes PACS and Epic EMR systems, with Epic charting experience required Role involves administering IV, oral, and rectal contrast, recognizing and responding to adverse reactions Responsible for reviewing radiology orders for completeness, patient history, and conducting necessary follow-up Regularly performs multiplanar reformats and 3D rendered imaging independently Assists with instruction of students and new staff as needed May cover duties in other imaging modalities when licensed and required Expected to help maintain equipment and work area, including supply inventory and cleanliness RTO not to exceed 7 total days per 13-week contract Candidates may not return to the facility within 6 months after completing a one-year assignment Scrubs or dress code details are not specified Requirements Associate's degree in a related field or certificate in Radiologic Technology required Current IEMA Radiography License, ARRT (R) or NMTCB, and ARRT (CT) certifications required BLS certification from the American Heart Association required At least 1 year of relevant CT experience required Experience in a Level 1 Trauma setting and proficiency with Epic EMR required No local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius License required if applicable Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-611662.
