Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CT Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 10/20/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for weekend night shifts with at least 1 year of CT experience, Level 1 Trauma background, and EPIC charting proficiency. Responsibilities Position is in a CT Scan department in a hospital setting Weekend night schedule: Sunday, Monday, Friday, and Saturday from 8:30 PM to 6:30 AM Patient population includes Level 1 Trauma cases Duties include computerized axial tomography procedures and assigned invasive procedures, including multiplanar reformats and 3D imaging Use of EPIC EMR is required Responsibilities include performing and processing CT exams, administering IV and oral/rectal contrast, reviewing patient labs and history, and ensuring patient safety May be required to assist in instruction of students or new staff and to cover duties of the CT Lead or Imaging Coordinator as needed Must screen patients for pregnancy and administer pregnancy testing when appropriate Expected to maintain equipment and work area, report malfunctions, and meet productivity standards Must provide up to 30 days advance notice for assignment cancellation once assignment starts No local candidates accepted; must reside at least 50 miles from the facility RTO (requested time off) during contract may not exceed 7 days Contingent workers may not be on assignment at this facility for more than 1 year without a 6-month break Scrub or dress code guidelines to follow hospital policy Requirements Minimum of 1 year recent CT experience in a Level 1 Trauma setting Associate's degree in a related field or Certificate in Radiologic Technology required Active IEMA Radiography License required if applicable Radiography (R)(ARRT) or Nuclear Medicine Tech Certification (NMTCB) required Computed Tomography (CT)(ARRT) required BLS certification (American Heart Association) required Proficiency in EPIC EMR required Ability to manage multiple tasks and demonstrate independent judgment Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-611670.
