Summary You will serve as a Logistics Management Specialist in the Submarine Integrated Product Support Branch of NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV KEYPORT WA. The Secretary of Defense has ordered a department-wide hiring freeze subject to certain limited exceptions. This position is subject to the DoD hiring freeze. Responsibilities You will ensure life-cycle sustainment strategies meet warfighter product support requirements. You will identify, schedule, monitor, and report to project managers and sponsors the status of the program Life Cycle Logistics (LCL). You will identify potential schedule slippage, requirements changes, and recommend corrective actions to minimize negative impact to the war fighter. You will develop and implement outcome-based product support strategies that optimize systems readiness and Life-Cycle cost affordability. You will work closely with project teams to evaluate logistics requirements, establish provisioning plans, and execute provisioning processes to meet project deadlines. You will work with project teams to prepare provisioning packages and documents in support of cataloging, contract and purchase care DoN Information utilizing procurement systems, You will prepare, review, comment, and make recommendations to LCL plans for assigned systems. You will deliver and manage logistics product elements, services, and technology to sustain system operational readiness. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a Logistics Specialist supporting Engineering Project Managers to ensure life-cycle sustainment strategies. Qualifying experience may include developing and implementing outcome-based product support strategies; establishing plans and preparing procurement packages; and managing and delivering logistic products, services, and technology to sustain operational readiness.
