Patient Care Associate Coordinator

will manage various clinic office operations to support our commitment to exceptional patient care. This includes patient registration, verifying insurance, collecting copayments, scheduling appointments, and answering phones to ensure a smooth patient experience. Hours:

This is a full-time position (40 hours/week) working Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Schedules are determined by the supervisor, and there may be a need to float to other practices as required. Location:

8526 Dell Webb Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89134 Key Responsibilities: Deliver outstanding service to all patients and visitors. Greet patients upon arrival and effectively manage wait times. Assist with check-in duties, including verifying insurance and processing required documentation. Collect copayments, co-insurance, and deductibles; issue receipts accordingly. Manage the cashier box operations and ensure daily deposits align with company policies. Serve walk-in patients and visitors with efficiency and courtesy. Schedule appointments while confirming the correct visit type and primary care provider. Maintain and manage medical records, ensuring they are accurately filed or scanned as needed. Scan and file all correspondence, process medical record release requests, and maintain necessary logs. Oversee waiting room cleanliness, communicate key information to patients, and ensure they are attended to promptly. Collaborate with back-office staff to promote smooth patient flow. Address service issues and complaints, escalating to management or clinical staff when necessary. Support team members and co-workers by assisting with duties and floating to other areas when requested. Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED (or higher). At least 1 year of customer service or healthcare experience. Basic proficiency with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.). Independent transportation during work hours for job-related responsibilities. Willingness to travel to other locations for coverage, if needed. Preferred Qualifications: Minimum 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting. Experience with insurance programs and basic managed care principles, such as referrals and prior authorization. Familiarity with electronic health records. Previous medical office experience. Understanding of CPT/ICD-10 coding. Knowledge of medical terminology. Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus. Soft Skills: Able to work independently while exercising good judgment and accountability. Demonstrated collaboration with healthcare providers. Strong organizational and time management abilities. Skilled at multi-tasking and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines. Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment under pressure. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and interpret communications effectively. Compensation is determined by various factors, including local labor markets, education, work experience, and certifications. Pay for this role ranges from $16.00 to $27.69 per hour for full-time employment. We ensure compliance with all minimum wage laws.
