Entry-Level Patient Care Coordinator
plays a crucial role in supporting our care teams to achieve the organization’s mission and vision. You will engage with patients, provide top-notch service, and ensure smooth operational processes according to established protocols. This position contributes to the overall satisfaction and health of our patient communities. Location:

Monday - Friday, 6:30am - 5:30pm (8hr shift/40hrs per week). Your schedule will be determined by your supervisor. Key Responsibilities: Deliver outstanding service to all patients. Welcome patients, check them in and out, and ensure that their personal and insurance details are correctly recorded in IDX. Handle co-pay collections responsibly and follow cash handling policies. Assist in scheduling appointments, verifying the correct visit type and primary care provider. Maintain a clean and organized waiting area while providing pertinent information to patients. Collaborate with back-office staff to ensure efficient patient flow. Tackle service issues and complaints, escalating to management or clinical staff as needed. Required Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED (or higher). At least 1 year of customer service experience. Basic proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.). Willingness to work in various locations within the service area. Preferred Qualifications: 1 year of experience in a healthcare environment. 1 year of experience with insurance programs and managed care concepts such as referrals and prior authorizations. Understanding of CPT/ICD-10 coding. Experience working with electronic health records. Familiarity with medical office operations. Knowledge of medical terminology. Bilingual in Spanish/English is a plus. Soft Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Excellent communication skills and professional phone etiquette. Compensation for this position will vary based on factors including local labor market conditions, education, and work experience. The hourly pay for this role ranges from $16.00 to $27.69 per hour for full-time employment. We adhere to all applicable minimum wage laws.
