Sr Project Engineer Specialist . Location: Tulsa, OK. Job Duration: 12+ Months contract. Responsibilities

Technical success of the project output within the constraints of the allocated budget and schedule. This positions role is the technical management and coordination of engineering resources to achieve compliance with customer technical requirements in the field of AC and DC Power Conversion and protection products. Product maturity ranges from refreshes of fielded systems to new product introduction. Operate primarily as a medium-to-large team leader with occasional assignments as an individual contributor. Drive and manage the creation, review, and submittal of project artifacts such as plans, procedures, reports, design documents, and technical manuals. Own major reviews. Provide real-time support and guidance with respect to design, testing, or system requirements. Be knowledgeable of system operations and end user needs. Maintain high attention to detail, be well-organized, and communicate large amounts of data succinctly. Skills/Experience

Engineering Development: Develop and drive good development processes and engineering best practices; follow methodologies and tools to improve engineering excellence. Proposal Development: Lead the proposal process for technical WBS definition, cost estimation, risk estimation, and technical schedule creation; interpret RFP requirements and lead the creation of proposal technical approach and content. Project Management: Lead detailed technical WBS definition, cost estimation, risk estimation, and technical schedule creation; manage day-to-day technical aspects of the project, including cross-functional decision making, task/schedule management, issue resolution/escalation, communication, requirements management, and risk management. Oversee software, digital, electrical power, mechanical, configuration management, and systems engineering activities; define system architecture and technical requirements; conduct design reviews; develop technical development plans; lead unit/integration/verification/testing and pre-production activities; support upgrade requests and change management; coordinate staffing with functional management; manage engineering budget and evaluate Estimate to Complete; communicate cost growth to the Program Manager; coordinate hand-off to Operations and Field Support. Ideal candidates will have broad-based technical knowledge across engineering functions, with emphasis in Electrical Power Conversion Engineering and Systems Engineering; strong hardware/software lifecycle experience; understanding of lean product development, DFX, Six Sigma concepts, PLM/ERP concepts; strong written and verbal communication; experience leading integrated product teams. Desired Skills

Proficient in MS Office (emphasis on Excel and Project); strong verbal and written communication; CAD systems experience (SolidWorks preferred); experience with PLM tools (Agile); experience with MRP systems (Cost Point); PMP Certification. Degree Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a related Engineering/Science field with a minimum of 6 years of related experience, or masters degree in progress with a minimum of 4 years of related experience, or in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 10 years of related technical and project management experience. Pay Range:

$55-$60 per hour Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. Benefits:
