Multi-Unit Team Leader
role at
H&R Block . This role leads three H&R Block tax offices and teams to accelerate the seasonal tax business. Prior tax preparation experience is not required.
Responsibilities
Provide leadership over three H&R Block tax offices and lead customer-centric teams to accelerate the seasonal tax business.
Serve as the front-line manager responsible for leadership and development of associates, delivering an outstanding client experience, and achieving office growth objectives for three tax offices.
Start with a flexible part-time schedule in the fall, transitioning to full-time from January to April, including evening and weekend hours as needed.
Work in-person at the offices (not remote).
Travel between offices as required.
Prepare tax returns as needed, after successful completion of the Income Tax Course or Tax Knowledge Assessment.
Manage office staffing, operations, and logistics for multiple offices with support from Associate Team Leaders.
Partner with the District General Manager to create and implement office growth plans and client growth targets, including developing local partnerships and managing office community involvement.
Assist the DGM in recruiting and interviewing candidates for tax office positions.
Conduct timely performance reviews and resolve associate issues in collaboration with the Associate Relations Center.
Build an engaging team environment across all offices through training and coaching, recognizing outstanding contributions.
Lead daily team meetings and communicate essential information to tax office associates.
Create employee schedules across all offices, ensure accurate timekeeping, and manage labor across offices.
Your Expertise
People management experience with the ability to grow and develop associates.
Aptitude for executing growth plans and leading toward a growth culture.
Strong decision-making and judgment in fast-paced environments with minimal supervision.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and a customer-centric mindset.
Computer proficiency with MS Office.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or a high school diploma with equivalent experience.
Successful completion of the HR Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course (if preparing tax returns).

Pay Range Pay range is listed below in compliance with local requirements. Final pay decisions depend on factors including experience, education, and geographic location. Eligible employees may participate in incentive plans and benefits described above.
