Join to apply for the Multi-Unit Team Leader role at H&R Block. A Typical Day... Joining us as a Multi-Unit Team Leader, you’ll provide leadership over three H&R Block tax offices. You’ll lead customer-centric teams to accelerate seasonal tax business. Prior tax preparation experience is not required. The role is in-person (not remote) with a flexible part-time start in the fall and transition to full-time from January to April, including evening and weekend hours as needed. Responsibilities

Provide leadership over three tax offices and develop a high-performing team culture across all locations Lead the front-line management and development of associates; deliver an outstanding client experience and achieve office growth objectives Manage office staffing, operations, and logistics for multiple offices with support from Associate Team Leaders Partner with the District General Manager to create and implement office-level growth plans and client growth targets; develop local partnerships and manage office community involvement Assist the DGM in recruiting and interviewing candidates for tax office positions Conduct timely performance reviews and address performance concerns with support from the Associate Relations Center Build an engaging team environment through training and coaching; recognize outstanding contributions Lead daily team meetings and communicate essential information to tax office associates Create associate work schedules, ensure accurate timekeeping, and manage labor across offices Travel between offices as required Prepare tax returns as needed, upon successful completion of the Income Tax Course or Tax Knowledge Assessment Qualifications

People management experience with ability to grow and develop associates Aptitude for executing growth plans and leading a growth-oriented culture Strong decision-making and judgment skills; ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-centric mindset Computer proficiency with MS Office Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or high school diploma with equivalent experience Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course (if preparing tax returns) Benefits & Perks

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $40.00 per hour. Local minimum wage laws apply. Pay decisions depend on factors such as experience, education, skill, performance, and location. Eligible employees may participate in incentive plans and benefits described above.
