This position reports to the Lead Real Estate Project Manager here at Brightspeed. This position oversees project systems implementation and support, expense and capital budget management, analysis, and reporting for all real estate projects. Brightspeed Real Estates portfolio consist of 9M SF, and facility types within this portfolio typically include Administrative, Service Operations Center, Call Center, Central Office, and Garages in twenty states. This position will coordinate and manage the operational alignment of projects within various systems used to manage project. The ideal candidate will have production experience and strong skills in work-plan development and progress tracking. The project manager will also prepare and present updates regularly to relevant management channels. Partner with managers to confirm project requirements, scopes, and objectives that align within systems that include Fireworks, Bidmaster, TREAT, BMSe and IQ Geo and ensure timelines and budgets are managed from the beginning of the project to the closeout. Coordinate internal and external resources, ensuring that projects remain within scope, schedule, and budget. Analyze and report project progress and, when necessary, adapt scope or timeline to achieve optimal results. Provide leadership with project specific and portfolio level assessments for project timelines and projected budget results. The Responsibilities of the Project Manager Real Estate are as following: Ensure that all aspects of each project are developed and in conformance with timeline and deliverables requirement within real estate systems. Develop and maintain project performance reporting tools that tracks overall progress and achievement of milestones. Work closely with the project managers to ensure systems data is accurate and updated and projects closed in a timely manner, including that all new equipment is added to the BMSE database and the equipment removed from the buildings are retired/removed from the database and Fireworks/IQGeo. Work with Procurement and Real Estate Vendor Management in the onboarding of contractors to Brightspeed systems and resolution of contractor issues in Bidmaster/IQGeo. Report project risks and outcomes to appropriate managers and escalate issues according to project work plan. Serve as point of communication between Shared Services teams as needed. Provide support for all Shared services teams with the development and management of purchase requests and Purchase orders in Ariba. Other tasks as assigned by management. Qualifications
WHAT IT TAKES TO CATCH OUR EYE: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in relevant field. Professional certification such as PMP (Project Management Professional). Prior experience with Fireworks and Bidmaster (bonus). Five or more years of experience in project management. Experience in coordinating teams and clients. Proven success in a corporate setting, working with all levels of management. Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills. Additional Information
