Mid-Level Commercial Real Estate Associate Job Description
Protingent Staffing has an exciting direct hire opportunity for a Mid-Level Commercial Real Estate Associate with our client that is located in New York. Responsibilities
Advise institutional investors, developers, and private equity clients on a wide range of commercial real estate matters. Structure and execute acquisitions, dispositions, and financings across diverse asset classes (office, retail, logistics, healthcare/senior living, student housing, hospitality, data centers). Draft and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, loan documents, commercial leases, and joint venture agreements. Conduct and manage due diligence, including title, survey, environmental, and zoning reviews. Advise on development projects from entitlement through completion. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across tax, construction, planning & zoning, and other practice areas. Support clients with day-to-day operational real estate matters, including lease amendments, assignments, subleases, and tenant issues. Qualifications
J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school with strong academic credentials. 35 years of commercial real estate experience at a nationally recognized law firm. Admission to the New York Bar. Experience in real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, and leasing. Exceptional drafting, negotiation, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications
Experience with multi-jurisdictional matters. Familiarity with real estate development and capital markets structures. Exposure to institutional clients, private equity funds, and REITs. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Commercial mindset with a client-first approach. Collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
