Operations Supervisor Leadership Assistant

Supports and maintains a team environment by providing day to day leadership and motivation. Main Responsibilities: Places safety first. Follows all procedures and policies. Self corrects issues and or reports to management immediately when required. Directs day-to-day work activities. Understands and follows all company policies, procedures and objectives. Helps organize and prioritize the daily activities of the Receiving and Raw Materials warehouse. Assists in coordinating activities of the department in an effort to minimize disruptions to the efficient shipping of products. Provides training to teammates assigned to work area in accordance with SOP guidelines. Coordinates with Supervisor to identify training and retraining needs. Facilitates JSK training for new hire training program. Reports to management any employee feedback regarding the execution of job duties. Acts as backup for any absent warehouse teammates. Identifies problems and seeks resolution, including conflict resolution. Communicates suggestions for improvements in reducing costs and improving quality and customer service. Assists in maintaining the security of the building. Participates in physical inventory count. Performs WTM I, WTM II, WTM III duties as business needs dictate. Performs additional duties as directed. Maintain a clean, neat and orderly work area Education & Experience: High School diploma, GED or equivalent required. 2-year associate in related field preferred (Business, Accounting, Office Administration or related field). Ability to obtain and maintain valid Mobile Equipment Operators License. Meets all Standards of Performance and Position requirements for WTM III. Equipment, Tools & Work Aids: Material handling equipment (to include items such as: hand truck, forklift/reach trucks, cherry pickers), stretch wrap machines, safety knives, safety harnesses.
