to our dynamic team. In this role, you will be key in ensuring smooth processes and protocols, while collaborating with our healthcare team to fulfill our mission of exceptional patient care. Your commitment to customer service and adherence to Lean principles will be vital in helping our team achieve clinical, financial, and service-driven goals. Schedule:
Monday-Thursday, 9am-5pm EST; Friday, 9am-4pm EST. Flexibility to work after 5pm EST may be needed based on organizational demands. Your specific schedule will be determined by your manager upon hire. Location:
1868 Hooper Ave. Toms River, NJ 08753. You may also be required to assist at our Eatontown location, as necessary. Primary Responsibilities: Collect and maintain accurate patient information, including names, addresses, and insurance details. Verify insurance on the date of service. Secure patient signatures for necessary documentation. Upload a valid government-issued state ID and patient insurance cards. Handle occupational medicine registration workflows efficiently. Organize and maintain medical records diligently. Correct registration work queue errors consistently. Confirm and schedule patient appointments. Answer incoming calls in a professional and courteous manner. Manage referral documentation accurately and promptly. Work in the claims edit work queue to resolve registration errors for insurance submission. Assist with patient follow-up tasks, such as scheduling specialist appointments and obtaining lab results. Adhere to Optum Employee Policies as outlined via Sparq. Collaborate effectively with team members to reach common objectives. Stay informed about medical requirements pertinent to your role, ensuring patient confidentiality adheres to HIPAA and OSHA regulations. Thrive in a fast-paced work environment. Coordinate care with multi-disciplinary teams in alignment with patients' Plans of Care. Ensure continuity of care through efficient scheduling and tracking systems. Document and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. Notify clinical staff promptly of any scheduling updates. Comply with administrative policies to uphold care quality. Ensure precision in document scanning and management of the fax server. Assist in the orientation of new employees and share updates as needed. Organize and maintain medical records systematically.
