Responsibilities Work in an interventional radiology department within a hospital setting Patient population includes cardiology and interventional radiology cases Schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM One night of call per week and call every seventh weekend are required Staff may be required to float to other qualified units or campuses based on census needs Assignment lengths are flexible, ranging from 13 to 26 weeks for holiday coverage Must be willing to float only to areas for which competencies are demonstrated Orientation sessions are held every Monday Completion of pre-assignment modules and testing within 48 hours of login receipt is required Modules are reimbursable up to 16 hours Travelers must live at least 50 miles from the flagship hospital to be considered; full travel rate applies at distances over 100 miles, and a reduced rate applies for 50–99.9 miles; under 50 miles is ineligible To be eligible for holiday contracts, candidates must agree to work 2 of the 3 major holidays and time off from 12/26 to 12/31 is not permitted Requirements Current ARRT and SCRQSA certifications required BLS certification required Minimum of 1 year recent experience in interventional radiology At least 1 year of experience with Epic EMR required License required if applicable Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-601802.
