Responsibilities Position based at a main hospital within a teaching and Level 1 Trauma center Assignment is 13 weeks in the X-Ray department Night shift schedule: three 12-hour shifts, Thursday through Saturday, 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM Call rotation required for 3-4 days per month Floating to other buildings on the same campus may be required Patient caseload and volume vary Uses O-Arm and C-arm equipment for imaging procedures Epic is the EMR used for documentation Scrub color required: teal top and black bottoms Duties include performing diagnostic X-ray procedures and supporting radiology team needs Assignments may require participation on emergency response teams during hurricane season (June – November) Holiday coverage may be required Parking available for nights and weekends for a one-time fee Average 4 hours of onboarding modules required before start Candidates must include all requested time off at time of application; RTO approval is based on facility needs Previous perm or PRN staff must have a 1-year separation before returning as a traveler Local candidates may be considered at a reduced rate Requirements Minimum of 1 year experience as an X-Ray Technologist ARRT (R), SCRQSA (R), and BLS certifications required Experience with O-Arm and C-arm imaging required Trauma experience preferred but not required Radiation badge must be provided by the agency Driver’s license and Social Security number required for consideration Epic EMR experience preferred First-time travelers accepted Radius rule: candidates must live at least 60 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rate License required if applicable Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-610339.
