Ocoee, Florida Summary The Senior Network Engineer is a key member of the Network Operations Team, responsible for maintaining the stability, security, and performance of the network infrastructure. This role reports to the Security Risk Compliance Office and requires advanced technical expertise in deploying, managing, and troubleshooting complex network environments, including routers, switches, wireless systems, and load balancers. Responsibilities

Manage Layer 2 and 3 protocols, including routers and switches, ensuring optimal data throughput and performance. Monitor and troubleshoot connectivity issues across various network segments such as campus, roadside, backbone, LAN, Walk-in Centers, partner networks, and third-party connections. Review and optimize network architecture, including failover capabilities, to enhance performance and reliability. Implement and oversee network security measures, including access controls, segmentation, and disaster recovery, ensuring compliance with policies and standards. Use SolarWinds to create dashboards for monitoring network infrastructure and troubleshooting performance and connectivity issues. Manage patches and updates for network devices like routers, switches, and firewalls. Support cloud architecture design, focusing on capacity, failover, stability, and security. Maintain accurate inventory and documentation of network infrastructure, including diagrams and change controls. Assist with cybersecurity investigations, forensic analysis, and evidence preservation in collaboration with the SRCO team. Ensure compliance with industry standards such as NIST and organizational policies. Requirements: This is a full-time, on-site position. Remote work is not permitted. Education: Four-year degree or equivalent experience. Experience: 5-7 years of hands-on experience with Layer 2/3 routing protocols and troubleshooting complex issues. Experience with deployment and management of routers and switches. Experience with cloud infrastructures such as AWS, Azure. Experience with Unix (RedHat), Windows, VMWare, and related platforms. Certifications: Required: Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Design Associate (CCDA). Preferred: Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE).
