Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Cath Lab Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 10/27/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Technologist with at least 1 year of acute care Cath Lab experience and current BLS, ACLS, and ARRT (or RCIS) certification. Responsibilities Work in an acute care hospital with 4 cardiac catheterization labs Supports cardiac, electrophysiology, venous thrombectomy, interventional neuro, and interventional radiology procedures Handles STEMI and stroke receiving cases TAVR/TMVR, Watchman, Mitraclip, diagnostic and interventional cardiology, diagnostic and interventional neuro, and IR procedures performed Day shifts are 4x10 hours, Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM On-call required both weekdays and weekends Floating within Cath Lab specialties and to other facilities within the state required Epic EMR is used; previous Epic experience required or preferred Scrubs are provided for Cath Lab staff Must be willing to float between facilities and specialties as needed Candidates requesting more than 7 days off may experience delayed consideration; limited RTO preferred and must be declared upfront Must work 3 out of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day) First-time travelers are accepted Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not live within 50 miles of the facility Some parking costs apply, with options available Pre-assignment and annual training modules are required Requirements Minimum of 1 year of acute care Cath Lab experience required Current BLS and ACLS certifications required ARRT or RCIS certification, Fluoroscopy permit, and valid CA state license required if applicable Ability to work with a range of interventional cardiac and neuro procedures LA fire card obtained within the last 30 days is required At least 2 supervisory references from the past 3 years are required for consideration Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-610721.
