Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Cath Lab Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 10/14/2025 Duration: 32 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Technologist with at least 2 years of experience in cath lab, IR, and neuro procedures for a busy Level II trauma acute care setting. Responsibilities Work in an acute care hospital with a Level II trauma designation Unit covers Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology, and Neuro suites Four procedure suites with an average of 1200 cases annually Caseload includes trauma, neuro, STEMI, interventional and diagnostic cath, pacemaker and device implants, EP studies and ablations, IR central line and port placements, and neuro interventions such as aneurysm coiling and thrombectomies Uses Cerner EMR and GE Spacelabs telemetry Day shifts are 10 hours with variable scheduling and call Call is required every other weekend from end of shift Friday through Monday morning and 14-15 weekday call shifts per 4 week period No floating required Primary duties include scrubbing and circulating a variety of cardiovascular, neuro, and interventional radiology cases Scrubs are provided Team structure includes charge nurse and dedicated cath lab and IR technologists Pharmacy and respiratory therapy are available 24/7 Holiday call coverage required based on unit needs One shift of unit-specific orientation provided Travel experience is preferred Not open to candidates who have worked at a CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facility within the past year as direct employees Requirements Minimum 2 years of experience in cath lab, IR, and neuro procedures Current ARRT, BLS, and ACLS certifications required; PALS preferred Active state or compact licensure required at the time of consideration (license required if applicable) Experience with EP preferred Ability to work with adult trauma and neuro patients Documented references from a supervisor within the last 12 months and a peer or supervisor within the last 3 years Copy of valid driver’s license required Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-612205.
