Customs Broker / Freight Forwarding Specialist
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Customs Broker / Freight Forwarding Specialist to join a dynamic logistics team in Milwaukee, WI. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong understanding of international shipping, customs regulations, and freight coordination. Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and process import/export documentation in compliance with U.S. Customs and international regulations Coordinate international shipments via air, ocean, and ground freight Communicate with customs officials, carriers, and clients to ensure timely clearance and delivery Classify goods according to the Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) Track and trace shipments, resolve delays, and proactively communicate updates to clients Maintain accurate records of shipments, duties, and compliance documentation Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth logistics operations Qualifications:
