Immediate Hiring For Forklift Operator and Material Handler
Job Description
The role involves building pallets for canned dry goods to be shipped from a large distribution center. The individual will handle picking, packing, and building pallets based on client orders. Operating a stand-up forklift in a fast-paced production environment is essential, with movement between locations to build customized pallets as per client specifications. The role includes using a headset for picking instructions and navigation within the warehouse.
Job Pay
$17-$20/hour
Responsibilities
Build pallets for canned dry goods for grocery stores and retailers.
Operate a stand-up forklift in a fast-paced production environment.
Pick, pack, and build pallets based on client orders.
Use a headset to receive picking instructions and navigate the warehouse.
Essential Skills
Experience with forklift operations, particularly stand-up forklifts.
Order picking and packing skills.
General labor experience in a warehouse setting.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ability to stand for 8-10 hours per day.
Capability to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively.
Minimum of 6 months forklift experience or over 1 year in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
