Front Office Medical Assistant
This dual-role position combines front desk administrative responsibilities with clinical support duties to ensure smooth patient experiences and efficient clinic operations. Responsibilities: Greet and assist patients with professionalism and confidentiality. Manage patient check-in, verify insurance eligibility, and collect payments. Schedule and confirm appointments, ensuring documentation is complete. Answer phones, manage paperwork, and assist with check-out procedures. Maintain accuracy in EMR usage, passing audits and SME testing. Essential Skills: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) or willingness to obtain within 6 months of start. CPR certification (active or willingness to obtain within 6 months). 6+ months' experience with phlebotomy required. Prior experience as a Front Office Medical Assistant required. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
