We’re building a modern community platform and looking for a Business Analyst to turn ideas and data into clear requirements, smooth delivery, and measurable outcomes. You’ll partner with product, engineering, design, and operations to shape what we build and why. They are moving from communities to a new tool, Hivebrite. They will be doing integration from one tool to the new tool. Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

– Lead requirements & alignment: Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business/functional requirements; challenge assumptions and align to strategic goals. Community-platform expertise

– Apply domain knowledge across forums/groups, events, messaging, moderation, gamification, and roles/permissions. UX partnership & journeys

– Build personas/JTBD, map user journeys, and collaborate on wireframes/prototypes to inform requirements. Model & visualize processes

– Create process flows, use cases, and data models to communicate system interactions across the SDLC. Drive analytical rigor

– Use data and analytical tools to evaluate processes, spot trends, and turn complex findings into actionable insights. Enhance delivery efficiency

– Improve discovery, validation, and handoffs with crisp user stories, acceptance criteria, and clear DoR/DoD. Governance & documentation

– Maintain traceability, versioned artifacts, and compliance-ready documentation for continuous improvement. Project coordination

– Manage priorities, timelines, risks, and dependencies to hit key milestones and keep stakeholders aligned. UAT & release readiness

– Define test cases, run scenario validation, triage issues, and drive go-live checklists and training. Change management & comms

– Orchestrate rollout plans, stakeholder communications, adoption tracking, and feedback loops. Must have

5+ years as a Business Analyst in product/tech environments. Strong facilitation, critical thinking, and stakeholder management skills. Must have worked with multiple stakeholders and outside vendor Experience working with integration projects Fluency in Agile practices (Scrum/Kanban) and tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira/Confluence). Comfort with analytics (e.g., SQL/BI dashboards/product analytics) and A/B or experiment thinking. Ability to create clear artifacts ( flows, use cases, data models, user stories, acceptance criteria) . Experience with community platforms or social/engagement features. Excellent written and verbal communication; executive-ready summaries and documentation. Nice to Have

Familiarity with SSO, CMS/CRM/CDP integrations, and event instrumentation. Awareness of privacy, data governance, and compliance best practices (PII/PHI). Seniority level
