This requisition is for a Procurement Engineering position on the Global Supply Chain Supplier Performance Team and will support the Advanced Development Programs (ADP) Line of Business (LOB). You'll support ADP, as a technical expert. This position works with Supply Chain Managers, Technical Subcontract Managers (TSM), Capacity/Rate Readiness, Supplier Risk/Performance Analysis, Supplier Quality, and Design Engineering to identify supply chain disruption risks and mitigate existing issues. Engages with suppliers to resolve emerging and complex technical issues affecting component on-time delivery and part shortages. Proactively conducts horizontal coordination with other teams (e.g. Production/Planning and Control) to resolve part shortages and emerging issues negatively affecting Production. Performs root cause corrective action (RCCA), supplier evaluations, technical evaluations for suppliers. Leads development of improvement strategies and mitigation plans. Must gain buy-in from integrated multi-functional teams regarding proper courses of action and then lead those teams to complete execution of the plans including required improvements as indicated.
