As a Data Analyst supporting the Sustainment Spares Modeling and Demand Planning Team in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve as a critical link between data, decision-making, and mission success. In this role, you will apply your analytical skills to forecast spares needs, streamline supply chain operations, and support the sustainment of advanced defense systems. You'll work closely with internal teams and external customers to identify data trends, automate processes, and recommend solutions that improve efficiency and readiness. This position offers a unique opportunity to blend technical expertise with real-world operational impact in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Key responsibilities include: Collaborating across internal teams and with external customers to assess and plan for spares needs that support mission readiness. Analyzing large and complex datasets to uncover trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvement. Building and automating data pipelines and reporting dashboards to streamline analytics and enhance decision-making. Evaluating maintenance plan changes for supportability and assessing spare part compatibility for deploying aircraft. Supporting internal planning by tracking team deliverables and identifying risks or opportunities for better performance. Providing data-driven recommendations that enable quick, informed decisions by execution teams and leadership. Driving continuous improvement by identifying and implementing process automation solutions and efficiency enhancements. Participating in frequent customer engagements and providing data insights that align with their sustainment needs. Maintaining awareness of evolving program requirements and integrating relevant data inputs to adjust forecasting models. You are a detail-oriented and analytical professional with a strong foundation in data analysis, forecasting, and process automation. With experience working with large datasets, you are skilled at uncovering trends, streamlining processes, and delivering actionable insights that improve decision-making. You are proficient in building data pipelines, dashboards, and automated solutions that enhance efficiency, and you're comfortable presenting findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Most importantly, you are adaptable, curious, and eager to contribute to mission-critical sustainment efforts that support advanced defense systems and ensure operational readiness. Fort Worth, TX. This position is in Fort Worth, TX. Discover Fort Worth. Basic qualifications include: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or 4 years experience in absence of degree. Demonstrated data analytics experience. Experience working with large datasets. Demonstrated experience with statistics with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated experience with programming and query development (i.e. C++, Python, SQL). Demonstrated experience with project management (i.e. managing cost, schedule, deadlines). Desired skills include: Background in STEM related field, Operations Research, Statistics, Data Analytics, Applied Mathematics, Operations Management, Decision Sciences, Data Science, Computer Science, Data Engineering or Supply Chain Management. Root-cause corrective-action knowledge/ability. Previous experience with data analysis, performance investigation in logistics disciplines, primarily supply and/or maintenance. Prior US Military background in logistics disciplines, primarily supply and/or maintenance a plus. Spares determination modeling or inventory analysis experience; Readiness Based Spares (RBS) experience a plus. Excellent organizational skills, communication skills, ability to make presentations, and assertive personality in getting a response or action completed. Experience with python, VBA or SQL, HANA and/or Tableau. Experience mining SAP data such as inventory movements. This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Clearance level: Secret. The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process. Work schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
